Dark purple garnet colour with powerfully lifted nose showing ripe mulberry and blackberry character. The nose also shows  violet, chocolate and roasted hazelnut characteristics.  The body is rich and muscular with firm but fine tannins. Very ripe dark fruit character on the palate with hint of chocolate and violet.

Winemaking Comments:

The components of the blend were fermented separately in small batches. We selected only the best lots and they were aged in French oak for 16 months. The wine was bottled unfiltered and no fining agents were used.
